Welcome Back!
In this post, I am going to discuss the 10 steps for improving your memory.
Good Brain Food - What you eat is what that matters...especially to your brain. They improve your memory significantly. Examples of Brain Food are green and leafy vegetables, berries, and walnuts.
Try to avoid negative thoughts and complaining. These generate a negative atmosphere. Try to give positive affirmations to yourself like: “I am the best” or “My memory is very sharp” or “I can recall things very easily”.
Exercise. Our mental health is heavily associated with our physical health. Taking this fact into consideration, we must exercise daily. It will increase our brain power by vast percentages.
Positive Peer Group - Based on mirror neurons, who you spend time with is who you become. Always keep in mind that a positive peer group is the group which guides you and challenges you at the same time.
Clean Environment - Having a clean environment around you is a must. Studies show that it can have a major impact on your mind. It also ensures that you are distraction free. You will be able to improve your focus and concentration.
You should have clear air, water, and space around you. These things help you in remaining calm.
Sleep - Dreaming is important for amazing ideas, and sleep is vital for the reduction of brain-damage due to age. Sleep is also important for the day-to-day functioning of your brain.
Brain Protection - Avoid putting gadgets under/near your pillow when you sleep. The harmful electro-magnetic waves from the gadgets harm your brain. Protect yourself from head related injuries. They can severely affect your brain and your thinking capacity. Always wear a helmet while riding a bicycle or a motorbike.
Learn new things - Neuroplasticity (Connections in your brain) can be instigated through learning new things. It also promotes curiosity.
Lastly, reduce your stress through yoga, meditation or massage
Remember: Never give up.
Thought of the Day:
